For this project, I am hoping to provide all the materials my students need to be engaged in learning from home. I included magnetic letters, a magnetic board that also works as a dry erase board, dry erase markers and a special vocabulary notebook. By donating to this project you will help my first graders practice key skills for literacy! First graders spend a lot of time learning sight words, practicing building, decoding, and writing words and sentences. These tools will give students the hands on practice they need to make words and spelling rules stick! When materials arrive I will deliver them to my students houses as part of a welcome to first grade goodie bag. This way I can connect with my students and their families and I know the kids will be very excited to get special materials for school.
