My classroom requires many different daily setups. We usually start the class with a written assignment, then switch to playing instruments, and end the class on laptops. Lots of class time is spent putting away desks and instruments because we don't have enough room to keep all these materials out at once. These lap desks will allow students to be on their laptops and then put their desks away to make room for playing instruments or singing. This will give the students a comfortable seating option while working on laptops and written assignments.
