In a child-centered classroom, the variety of seating options ordered will afford my first graders the opportunity to choose where they feel that they can do their best work and learning. All of the different types of seating will allow us to work anywhere around the classroom and will give my students the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively on classroom projects and activities while keeping our social distance. This school year will definitely be one like no other but these materials will help ensure my students continue having fun while learning. First graders love the freedom to make their own choices. Having a variety of seating options will promote choice and excitement in the classroom.
