We will use these supplies to help children stay engaged, motivated and focused on learning activities. Virtual learning is a new experience for my students. Students are learning to manage time, balance responsibilities and stay focused as they work independently. We are working to help them stay engaged as they acquire these skills in addition to their academic curriculum. We also want to be sure that we recognize and celebrate as the students work towards and accomplish their remote learning goals. In addition, we hope to use the books to provide a hands-on learning experience and foster relationships as we discuss the books in our book club. Our goal is to keep the students focused and engaged, helping create new bridges to learning now that students are separated by location.
