Due to Covid-19, my kindergarten class now sit in individual desks. No community supplies are allowed. All manipulatives must be bagged for each student and stored in their desk. I have used a lot of plastic baggies for their individual supplies. With so many supplies in their desk, my kindergartners are constantly searching for the needed material. Organization is important to maximize our learning time. Even kindergartners can learn how to organize by starting with their desks. And if we go to remote learning, the requested supplies will help in sending things home. I am anxiously awaiting a visit from the desk fairy!
