English language learners are already working hard in school but virtual learning has only made things more difficult. My project is requesting noise canceling headphones and academic planners for the year 2020-2021. These are necessary for 6th grade English language learners to excel and to stay organized as they move through school in another language. Headphones will allow my students to focus more on instruction rather than outside distractions. The academic planner is a great way for students to keep track of important information and deadlines. Due to virtual learning, it's far more difficult for students to know what they are responsible for; but, a planner is an easy way to absolve this problem. Thank you!
