Virtual instruction means my English language learners no longer have access to the classroom resources they rely on for success. The English language learners I work with use paper English dictionaries during instruction, on classroom assignments and even on state-wide assessments. Online dictionaries are not an option for most students due to lack of technology access. During virtual instruction and once in-person learning resumes, resources are not be able to be shared. My students each have a need for his/her own dictionary. Please consider helping my students have the resources they need to succeed in English!
