With this weather station installed outside of our classroom we will be able to monitor the local conditions and changes. An important part of the scientific process at this grade level is recording information, so students will use the real time data in their science notebooks daily. Since our school is located on a U.S. Navy base we have access to more sophisticated data, but for the students to see it in raw format, then record, interpret, extrapolate then compare with an "official" source is a great tool. Thank you!
