I provide targeted support and intervention for students with IEP's. The use of manipulatives is one way that I can differentiate learning for my students. My students can use manipulatives at home or in the classroom when lessons seem too hard or confusing. The materials I choose also makes learning fun for my students. When they can actually hold something in their hands to problem solve their engagement is higher. They also tend to understand more when they can use their hands to grapple with the content taught in class.
