I teach a self contained exceptional ed class. My work and my teams works is LITERALLY ALL HANDS ON since I teach the tiniest of the bunch. My co-teacher and I have been trying to come up with strategies and ideas to make sure each child gets what they need while making sure that we take all sanitary precautions. Part of what I do is I make accommodations for every student in my room. Whether it’s their daily schedule, activities, lessons, goals, and just about anything you can think of BUT COVID-19 is definitely an accommodation that every single teacher in the world was not expecting. With that being said we have a created a wishlist on Amazon for my class with different sensory toys and educational material for each child to have one of each in their “task pouches” that way we can minimize the amount of shared materials. We truly appreciate everyone’s interest and thank you so much in advance.
