My Kindergarteners are so excited about reading! They are just beginning to "crack the code" of reading! I love seeing the excitement in their eyes when they realize "I CAN read!" During reading workshop time, student love reading books from their book boxes and reading books with me during guided reading time! I would love for them to be able to listen to their favorite stories at a listening station! Even though they can't read these "favorites" on their own, they can listen to them, talk about them, and draw pictures and sentences about what happened in the story.
