My main goal in my classroom is to encourage all my students to let go of stereotypes and challenge their minds to achieve the unbelievable. My girls need to have more women in Stem role models through reading and researching to encourage and pique their interest in science Technology Engineering and Math field. They will then use what they learned to write about these women. I am requesting white boards, white erase markers, sentence strips, and a pocket chart so my students with iep's can work in a small group, at their own pace, to learn and write about women in STEM. I am requesting pencil pouches to keep all their note cards in as they are researching.
