The world has become a strange place for kids over the past six months. They are witnessing history that is unpredictable, strange, and often confusing. While our schools go ride out the waves of online and in-person (covid-style) learning this year, I'd like to bring in some new books to update our class library & group meetings to include these current topics. The books on this list will inspire hope, encourage inclusion, and emphasize persistence & determination for my students. I'm hoping these books will start conversations, get kids thinking, and help them to share new perspectives with one another in a safe & loving environment, whether we are online or in-person.
