An audio digital interface that converts the analog sound into a digital signal will allow students to hear an accompaniment piano track performed live. With this technology, students will be able to play with backing tracks and accompaniments (piano or another stringed instrument that has a microphone) to assist students with rhythm and intonation and to self-correct their performance through immediate feedback. Moreover, giving students the ability to hear quality performance will allow students to develop their ear for nuances in musical style and expression, which is essential for their growth and development.
