My students spend a lot of time on the carpet. Due to the current pandemic, all the classroom rugs will be removed from the classrooms. Pre-k students spend a lot of time on the floor, during circle time, read alouds, math lessons, and storytime. An alternative would be to have seat cushions. Having comfortable seating for my students will make it a much more pleasant experience. In addition, they can be configured based on the needs of the lesson or activity. They can be used for both whole class and small group lessons or used as the students see fit. Having seat cushions will make it more comfortable and allow more flexibility.
