Students were given Chromebooks to utilize during remote teaching. These devices are not very easy to use for a 4 year old with a lot of parent support and guidance. In an effort to help students be more independent in their learning, they have been allowed to utilize tablets for their home learning. However, when we return to class, they will not have tablets available. Tablets allow students to work independently and stay engaged in the lesson. I will be able to push work out to them through Seesaw to allow them to complete various activities, even tracing activities using a stylus. This allows them to practice proper pencil grip even though they are working on a device. Also, they will be able to have access to various e-books to promote language and literacy skills in class. We will be limited with allowing students to borrow classroom books while in class. Help me to keep learning and and school fun by making it as independent and student centered as possible under our current situation.
