These books will help me promote a love for reading within the classroom and at home for my students. I’ve chosen books with important messages which will help my students understand the important traits of being a good person. I’m committed to honoring and celebrating diversity within the classroom which is why I chose books with diverse characters and some which share the stories of POC. It is my hope that giving my students exposure to this type of literature will help them embrace kindness, compassion, and diversity to help them be well rounded and accepting people.

About my class
