These tablets will allow students access to technology in the classroom to complete assignments and learn new tools to further their learning. Currently, they only have access to a shared computer lab once a week and are not able to have devices in the classroom. Devices would give them the flexibility to maintain safe social distancing, allow for small group learning, individualized check-ins through technology, and rapid feedback to support learning. These devices will give them an advantage in the classroom this year as well as in years to come as technology becomes an important teaching and learning tool for the rest of their educational career.
