My music room as always been a place where students have been allowed to express their creativity. But with the uncertainty of Covid-19 we are no longer allowed to stay in our own classrooms and we will now be teaching in my students’ homeroom classes or outside. My IF/THEN inspiration for this project comes from Lekelia “Kiki” Jenkins. She says great science comes from creativity. The music white boards will be used so my students can create and write their own music. The fanny pack with Bluetooth speakers will be used when we are outside so my students can show their creativity through dance. I am excited to see what my girls can accomplish in science through their creativity in music.
