To help me to reach their educational goals, I need to create individual boxes with adapter tools specific to each child’s needs. These boxes will be filled with a variety of materials to help them successfully continue their education remotely. The individual boxes will allow them to participate in necessary activities in a safe and healthy manner. The materials I am requesting will improve hand strength, fine motor skills, and visual-motor skills. All of these skills are necessary for their development and in achieving the ultimate goal of independence. If I were to receive the TeacherPayTeacher gift cards, I would be able to directly assist each child and tailor lesson plans to fit their needs. The gift cards would allow me to purchase materials, activities, lessons, and so many more tools. Before the pandemic, all of my instruction was hands-on and one-on-one with the students. The drastic change in instruction has been challenging for both my students and me, but with the additional support of these materials, I am confident my students will continue to meet all of their goals.
