By having these materials, my students will be able to grab their bins and begin to work on their goals. As a first year teacher, I am working to provide everything I can to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. Teaching in this ongoing COVID crisis means that we need to be proactive about materials and how students engage with them. By having bins for each student, this will prevent students from sharing materials. I am also working to establish a cozy corner/calm down/library space for my students. With the addition of the bookshelf, students will have easy access to high quality and diverse literature.
