Many of my students have trouble regulating their bodies, energy, and emotions independently. In addition to a focus on Social/Emotional Learning, physical tools can be extremely helpful in providing necessary sensory experiences to calm down or focus. At times, the right tools work like magic. A child who has had difficulty walking to class every morning this year walked confidently down the hall this week once he was given a vibrating pen. Each sensory tool will help my children have a safer, more comfortable, and more successful day at school!
