The year 2020 has been a whirlwind, especially for educators and students. I have personally spent hundreds of hours planning and strategizing for my group of students this year and have felt extremely scared for not only our safety, but the impact COVID-19 will have on their learning. But I believe "Socially-Distanced Play Time" will not only help my students bring the FUN back in learning, it will also provide us the space to do it in a safe way. The goal of this project is to create a positive learning environment with socially-distanced kinesthetics. My hope is to provide each of my students their own yoga mat and portable desk. With these tools, I can lead various fun exercises and games while keeping students 6ft apart! This project will help my kiddos complete their work without feeling "confined" behind a stationary desk, help them stay safe and active, and most importantly allow learning to be fun! Please help this project come into life, we need your help :)
