Magna-tiles are engaging and students adore them. Currently in our classroom we only have solid blocks that either connect or stack. Ex: duplos, wooden blocks, and unifix cubes. Magna-Tiles would bring in the magnetic piece along side with building. Students love these blocks. The Magna-Tiles will be used in conjunction with our construction zone center and light table. In the past I have been able to borrow these from a teacher that has now moved. The students would play with them for hours. Increasing their stamina and focus. Typically to buy this type of classroom accessory I would have use my own personal money. Thank you for helping our class. These would provide hours of exploration and collaboration.
