As a School Counselor my main role is to remove any barriers that may be preventing a student from being successful at school. I work to support all students' academic, personal, social and career development. This selection of valuable social emotional resources will provide my students with essential information on the importance of self-care and mental health, as well as self-esteem, problem solving skills, resilience, life skills, and mindfulness. In addition, I will be counseling students both at a distance and in person, and need more general supplies to make sure both spaces are safe, comforting and inviting. It is my belief that students cannot focus on their academics unless they put their mental health and social emotional needs first. Your help will allow them to do so! With your support my students have access to much needed mental health resources that will motivate them to do their best and improve their social emotional skills, especially while we are distance learning. Thank you for showing my students that there are caring people out there that are willing and able to lend a hand.
