The products that I have selected will allow my digital learners to bring many of the classroom experiences home. The magnetic write and wipe boards along with magnetic letters will allow students to practice word building and writing skills. The math tool kits include write and wipe 120-chart, pattern blocks, base blocks, ten-frames and counters. These items will provide students with the opportunity to compare numbers, learn basic addition, subtraction and to build shapes. Manipulatives help to support a wide range of learners which will keep learners motivated and engaged while making learning fun! This project will provide each of my students with the tools they will need to enrich their digital learning experience. Providing each first grader with their own learning manipulatives increases student ability to engage through multi-sensory learning (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile) which strengthen memory and learning.
