I'm hoping to get a set of 11 chromebooks for our classroom so I can provide all students daily access to technology (every 2 students will share). This set of chromebooks will allow every student in the classroom valuable technology time every day. These Chromebooks will provide my students with daily opportunities to access web-based learning. Not only will it help them improve in reading and math, but also with exploring the world around them as they learn to explore the globe through the internet. My students will be able to use Google Classroom on a daily basis. They will be able to collaborate with each other and engage in their learning with Flocabulary, Padlet, Kahoot, Nearpod, Flipgrid, Google Forms, and Google Slides. I will be able to give students individual feedback quickly and make decisions to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. We need to teach them how to use technology as a tool to leverage their problem-solving and innovative ideas. Truly, student learning isn't always about what they know, but what students DO with what they know. Students need to be prepared for the global society and all of the networking and innovation that is intertwined. Every donation (big or small) will help us meet our goal! Every child deserves the right to be able to access a world of knowledge. These Chromebooks will bring the world to our classroom.
