Modelling the skill that I want students to learn is always a very significant part of the entire lesson. While all parts of the the lesson are important, the way the concept or the skill is modeled always makes a huge difference in the learning process. Using a document camera in modeling skills or concepts always sparks the the great idea that are almost always innate in students. Once they get the concept/skill, they build that confidence that always drives them to be successful. That same confidence puts them in a position to lift and help others.
