Having an iPad available as a technological resource would significantly help my lesson planning in creating more engaging and interactive Zoom synchronous lessons as well as asynchronous course work. It would make the process of creating virtual lessons a lot simpler with the touch screen interface as well as the apple pencil. I would be able to seamlessly share my screen with students and legibly work out mathematical problems with them virtually. I would be able to provide all of my students with engaging and fun mathematical lessons, which is crucial at the high school level. The majority of high school students dread math. So making lessons and activities that are student centered and engaging is so important to help them understand and grasp the concepts. I strongly believe that having a personal iPad for my class would tremendously help my planning and creating process for all of my classes. I thank you for reading over and the consideration of donating to my professional development project.
