These materials will allow me to engage my students in outdoor exploration and play. The outdoor environment is an essential piece of the Montessori approach, allowing children to connect to nature, which they don't get many opportunities to do in our day and age. These outdoor essentials and gardening tools will provide children with the opportunity to tend a garden, building their fine and gross motor skills along the way. Living in the desert, we often don't get many opportunities to spend time outdoors, so it's important that we take advantage of the time we have.

About my class
