As a new teacher, I am looking to put some warm, colorful, and inviting rugs in my room so that when students are in the class, they have somewhere to sit that feels more like home and less like a cold, dirty classroom floor. The large rug is for students to sit on during Circle time and the smaller rug is for them to sit on when they are reading in the book nook for read to self and partner time. I know that when I read, I like to be somewhere cozy as I'm sure the children will as well. With the colorful alphabet rug, students can learn their letters while sitting and listening to story books and other activities. Thank you!
