All the materials and resources I am requesting for the classroom will ensure all my students are learning in a culturally relevant space. Reading helps us in every subject. I plan to read books that includes all cultures so students can relate themselves to characters in the text. Having phonics manipulatives will also enhance their level of thinking. As well as give students different access of learning to meet every students needs. I want my kinder babies to leave Kindergarten with confidence that their future will be bright because their foundation of learning was strong ! I want to push my students to succeed not only academically but socially-emotionally as well. Having a sensory center will allow my students to develop their fine motor skills, cognitive skills ,and to have a place to cool down when necessary. Especially after a pandemic year SEL is super important to implement all throughout the students learning.
