I work with students on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) issues because we have a strong commitment to serving students as a group but also as individuals. Diversity is the presence of differences that may include race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, socioeconomic status among other issues. I'm working with a panel of 25 students to update our school policies to make sure that they are inclusive and respect student differences. These students are committed to building a better world by scrutinizing all aspects of the school. For example, they are asking that the administration recruit more teachers of color to match the diverse composition of our student body. I need a document camera to share documents with my students and record meetings. Thank you very much for considering.
