Due to the current pandemic, we as teachers are now challenged to find ways to keep our students safe in daily activities. In music class we use instruments on a daily basis to assess musical skills, provide an outlet for musical expression and keep students engaged. We hope that by creating individual "Instrument kits" we can continue to provide fun and engaging lessons for our students. This Donors Choose project will benefit 5 different elementary schools and over 2500 students in Seguin ISD. Each student will receive their own "instrument kit". Each kit will include egg shakers with the eggs and popcorn. Scarves for movement out of the Tulle. Drums out of the dressing containers. Scrapers out of pool noodles. And last but not least, drum sticks with the wooden sticks. These kits will ensure each child is engaged in a safe way.
