This year while teaching kindergarten virtually, there will be many materials my students need while working from home, and when they come back into the classroom. By teaching in a high poverty school, I want to make sure I can give my students all of the help and materials they need to succeed. The notebooks will allow my students to create math and science journals. They can bring them back to school when we return face to face to discuss what we have learned together virtually. With the whiteboards and markers, my students will be using them to write sentences, learn their letters and sentence structure while they are at home or in school. The large envelopes will allow my students to keep their materials all in one place at home and at school.
