Many of my students have few experiences outside of our immediate small town area. These robots will allow my students to learn vital coding skills that will be useful to them in the future. The robots will be incorporated into math and science lessons. The Tennessee Science Standards include an engineering component. The Botley and Dash robots will allow students to connect the engineering design process to both science and math standards. They will be able to apply science and math concepts by using the robots to complete STEM activities in the classroom. Additionally, these robots can be used during after school activities and/or summer STEM camps to allow more students access to these important skills, which they can build on in the future.

About my class
