I have a fantastic class of 20 4th grade students in a high poverty school system. We are not letting that stop us though! We have fun and branch out of our comfort zones to learn new things. We love embracing novel studies along with technology. We enjoy the combination and love learning about new others. This year I started a knitting group with a few of my 4th grade students. This quickly spread to 35+ students from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. These boys/girls come to my room during indoor recess to learn loom knitting, needle knitting, and crochet. I'm amazed by how many students are interested and how quickly they learn new patterns. It's been an amazing year, and I can't wait to see what the future brings. Thank you for supporting our class.
