I am always trying to find more ways to make sure my students have access to our learning from class. With the current climate of our country, it's important to have simple access to an iPad and an interactive TV screen. With the addition of an Apple Pencil, I will be able to write notes on the iPad that can be displayed on the screen for the whole class in real time. This will allow me to write and talk to my class both live and/or virtual to ensure student understanding. I will also be able to save a copy of the notes so that students who were absent or would like to review prior class notes will have access to the exact notes from class via our classroom website. Furthermore, I will be able to hand the iPad and Apple Pencil over to a student who will be able to display their concepts and ideas to the entire class. The Apple Pencil will allow me to take full advantage of the technology my school already provides to ensure students have access to interactive classroom instruction both in person and virtually, the ability to record and revisit prior notes and the ability to easily lead the class from their own desk.
