Flexible seating and multi-sensory fidgets helps students feel empowered by giving them some degree of choice and control over their environment. It not only gives them a sense of control, it also allows for movement, and brain breaks which contributes to a positive learning approach. Kids need an outlet for movement and fidgeting during the school day. My students will be able to take ownership of their learning and feel a sense of community, knowing that their learning preferences are being acknowledged. They will be able to focus and stay on task during instruction while their brains are thinking and brainstorming.

About my class
