As we begin the year learning remotely, we know a lot more about what students need to successfully learn from home. My 9th grade team is looking to put together at-home learning care packages for our students so that they can feel prepared to begin their first year of high school in these unexpected circumstances. Our students need items that will help to keep them organized, focused, and able to manage time wisely. In my project, you will find blue light blocking glasses that will help students avoid headaches and eye strain from being in front of a screen for multiple hours of the day. Also white boards that will allow them to participate, make comments or calculations in zoom classes. Folders ad note books for basic organization. Remote learning has widened the divide between students who do and do not have access to certain resources. With your help, we will be able to provide our students with materials that will support their learning.
