My scholars deserve basic school supplies, social-emotional manipulatives, and hands-on reading tools. In these uncertain times, school should be a place that provides consistency and comfort to my scholars. Even though we are starting the school year remotely, supplies like pencils, clipboards, whiteboards, and markers will help set my scholars up for success. Social-emotional manipulatives help my diverse learners calm their bodies and focus throughout lessons. They also help scholars recognize their emotions. These tools will also be very beneficial when making the transition back to school. Hands-on reading tools will assist my learners both at home and at school. These tools will make it easier for them to focus and grow as readers.
