It takes alot to keep my students focused, let alone, at home in their comfortable environment, where they will immediately, just want to relax. Some of my families do not even have the space for learning, so the headphones will be used along with the district provided chromebooks, where they can tune out homelife. The seating, could be used in their favorite spot in the house, where they can become more comfortable, while learning, and will make the process easier for everyone. Technology and visuals are huge in my classroom 100% of the day, so being able to provide the lesson schedule virtually to them as close to being in the physical classroom is key. Routines are super important in my fundamental life skills classroom. Learning virtual will already be a task for them, but being able to visually see and hear me, will surely help them along the way!
