My project consists of two main things: a webcam and books for a classroom library. As a first year teacher, I have not yet built up a classroom library for when the students come back to school. When the students come back for in person learning, I hope to provide them with a diverse classroom library. It is so important for students to see themselves represented in the books available to them, so I have specifically picked a diverse selection of books to keep in my classroom. My district is beginning the school year with virtual learning. The webcam will allow me to create higher quality instructional videos as well as connect better with my students each day.
