Many of my students come from low income households. These students and families rely on our schools for supplies so by purchasing pencils, paper and markers these students have the means to succeed. Many of my students are very quiet so giving them options to draw on their white boards or write in their journals can make them feel more included! I would love to be able to bring some joy and sense of peace to these families who might not have the means to provide school supplies. I have never met children more excited about school and learning than my Moutain School kids and I hope to keep that energy going!
