High school is where some students have lost their motivation to create. Most of my students don't even know how to color properly when beginning my class. I do what I do best, and teach them these skills. Coloring using a best quality color pencil is vital to allowing students to understand the difference that a single color pencil can make, but with all the changes happening to the courses that I teach, purchasing the tight color pencils have made it more difficult. What do I want to achieve? I want students to learn the best ways of applying color, blending, layering, and incorporating these color pencils in mixed media ways. Every year that I have done this, I've seen astounding results and the satisfaction in the students' faces have truly opened a new world in art.
