Our students would benefit from additional social/emotional support through digital media means in helping students not feel alone. Pain, trauma and despair hides in the shadows and wants to be left alone. Meeting students where they are at, in the digital age, through 3-4 minute wellness videos can provide education but most importantly a feeling of belonging. COVID continues to create a culture of isolation. A smartphone tripod and external hard drive will provide our school counseling staff members technical devices to help create videos for support mental health and wellness.
