In kindergarten, students makes leaps and bounds when it comes to their ability to read. Time with text is essential as students are beginning to read but sometimes it is difficult to keep those books in their hands for an extended period time. By creating a comfortable and inviting environment, I hope to encourage my kindergartners to WANT to spend time in my classroom library and build their reading stamina. These flexible seating options will help me achieve that goal by providing g seating that isn’t just on the floor or at their desks.
