Students will use these safe, wipe-clean sensory materials to assist in maintaining focus in the classroom. Additionally, these will increase students fine motor skills. Students will use weighted lap pads to help them stay seated safely and not move about the classroom. With new regulations, special needs students will also be required to wear masks throughout the school day. Because these children have a variety of sensory needs, it will be difficult for them. These sensory materials will also provide a healthy, educational distraction for them in the classroom. These materials will be easy to sanitize between use.
