All of my students have visual impairments and items to add the classroom that are tactile and facilitate learning aides in building on to their current knowledge. This is a new classroom that is for K-6 students that are on a functional curriculum. These supplies will assists my students' orientation, engagement, and learning. The carpet squares with help with learning personal space and light cover assists reducing eye fatigue and strain from the bright classroom lighting. The baskets will aide in learning organization of school materials and supplies. The play-dough assist with learning cutting and fine motor skills. Tactile letter and numbers will aide in tactually learning letters and number through multiple learning styles. The pocket chart with assist in name recognition.
