I hope to expand my fourth grade library with books that have characters and themes that reflect the diversity of the students sitting in my classroom. I work in a Title I school outside of New York City where the students come from various cultural and racial backgrounds. In my classroom we celebrate what makes us unique and what unites us. These additional books will help me expand my library to provide reading opportunities for students during distance learning. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
